Category: Missouri

A nice line of storms moved through Missouri this evening.  I couldn’t resist heading out to make some lightning photos.  My friend Patrick Fallon and I headed north of Columbia and found a nice spot on a backroad.  This probably wasn’t the safest trip, but it was fun to just make photos for ourselves for a change.

I shot all of these at one second f/2.8 and 3200ISO with a fisheye lens.

A few months back I had the opportunity to make a portrait of  Todd Glaese out at Columbia Regional Airport’s AFSS.  Glaese was selected as the 2009 Air Traffic Control Specialist of the Year by the Air Traffic Control Association.  The image appeared on the front page of Lockheed Martin’s website for a few weeks.

I’ve resurrected my Flickr account and will be using it specifically for posting pictures that I take with ShakeItPhoto.  Thats not to say that occasionally I won’t post a few favourites that I have on here, but the majority of them will be found there.  To view my set of photos taken with ShakeItPhoto click here.

I hope to be making a few new posts in the coming days, so stay tuned.  I may be digging back into the archives a bit for one of them.
